Die Express Version (Technical Preview) der nächsten SQL-Server Generation ist nun gratis zum Download verfügbar. Es handelt sich dabei um die selbe Version welche mit den Visual Studio 2005 Express Versionen herunterladbar ist. Nun aber auch einzeln verfügbar.

We are nearing completion of developing and testing SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 and are targeting its release in the coming weeks. SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 will be available in Developer Edition as well as Express Edition. You will have access to SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 through Betaplace. For those of you that are MSDN Universal, Enterprise, or Professional subscribers, SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 will also be available for download from the MSDN downloads site when it is released.
