nVidia veröffentlicht ForceWare 81.85 Beta

Kürzlich hat nVidia eine öffentliche Beta-Version (81.85) seines ForceWare-Treibers für die Betriebssysteme Windows 2000, Windows XP und Windows XP x64 Edition zum Download bereitgestellt. Als Änderungen gab man unter anderem die SLI-Unterstützung für über sechzig bekannte Spiele an (siehe auch Release Notes). Wichtigste Änderungen:

Support for the GeForce 6200 with TurboCache, NVIDIA PureVideo, and NVIDIA SLI
SLI support for over 60 top games
A CoolBits applet to allow users to easily add their own SLI application profiles for games that are not SLI certified
Robust HDTV Display Setup and adjustments
Multi-Display support for Windows Remote Desktop
Improved compatibility with Windows Remote Desktop in multi-display modes
Microsoft DirectX 9.0c and OpenGL 1.5 support
