Stardock IconPackager 2.5 veröffentlicht

Wer das Aussehen von Windows grundlegend verändern will, kommt an einer Modifikation der Icons nicht herum. Da sich dieser Vorgang oft als sehr mühselig herausstellt, kann man die Icons auch in Pakete zusammenfassen und mit nur einem Mausklick installieren. Besonders für den IconPackager von Stardock findet man im Internet zahlreiche IconPacks. Hier die Changelog für die neue Version 2.5:

• A more thorough preview window for showing all the major icons in a selected icon package
  
• Full integration with IconDeveloper allowing users to instantly edit and change virtually any icon on their system
  
• Icon Explorer can explore icons in .ICLs, .EXEs, .DLLs
  
• Smart Packaging - icon packages are now created with duplicate icons removed. New icon packages will thus be megabytes smaller in size
  
• Encrypted .iptheme's to ensure icon packages are applied as designed
  
• Integration with Stardock skincast where it can automatically download from the net the latest featured icon package
  
• Dozens of little tweaks and changes
