Notebook Hardware Control 2.0 Pre-Release 02
Das Programm verspricht eine Verlängerung der Lebensdauer der Batterie und ein kühleres System durch die Kontrolle über die Stromzufuhr zum Prozessor und der Taktsteuerung für ATI-Notebook-Grafikkarten. Neben den Steuerungsfunktionen bietet NHC auch eine Temperaturüberwachung für die verschiedenen Komponenten. So lassen sich riskante Overclocking-Experimente am Notebook mit einem letzten Sicherheitsanker vollführen.
Der Autor und WinFuture.de übernehmen keinerlei Haftung für eventuell durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch entstandene Hard- oder Software-Probleme. Einige der Features der Software funktionieren nur mit neueren Pentium M CPUs, wie sie in Centrino-Laptops verbaut werden, oder Intel Core Prozessoren. Das Programm dürfte allerdings auch mit andereren Notebooks funktionieren - dann allerdings mit beschränktem Funktionsumfang.

- that have problems with the keyboard or touchpad when using NHC.

- add LCD Brighntess support (in combination with ACPI Control System)
- updated the system tray menu for the professional version and add new profile icons
- add possibility to change the profile after a defined user idle time.
- add XML settings file (settings.xml)
- updated the nhcDriver
- removed the nhcACPI driver (not longer necessary)
- removed the nhcsafe.exe file (not longer necessary)
- updated the nhc webpage and nhc help file
- removed bugs and problems
