Supports ZIP, 7-ZIP, A, ACE, ARC, ARJ, BZ2, CAB, CPIO, DEB, GCA, GZ, IMP, LHA (LZH), LIB, RAR, RPM, SQX, TAR, TGZ, TBZ, TAZ, YZ1 and ZOO archives.

Supports BIN, C2D, IMG, ISO and NRG disc-images.

Support for external plugins.

Windows® shell integration, e.g. drag & drop, shell context menu and drop handlers.

Create 7-ZIP, BZ2, CAB, LHA (LZH), SQX, TAR, TGZ, YZ1 and ZIP archives.

Support for the Zip64 algorithm which allows you to create ZIP archives larger than 4GB.

Script support which allows you to make automated backups.

Basic features like: add, extract, delete, rename, run, view, checkout, install, test, comment, SFX, virus-scanning, disk-spanning and much more.

Repair corrupted ZIP and SQX archives.

Can extract multiple archives at once using Multi Extract.

Encrypt archives using 6 different algorithms. Blowfish (128-bit), DES (56-bit), Triple DES (168-bit) and Rijndael (128-bit, 192-bit and 256-bit).

Create self-extracting encrypted archives.

Automatic updates using the "Web Update" function.

· Fixed a file association bug on Windows 9x systems.
· Fixed a bug causing the shell context menu not to be shown on some systems when displaying it in a sub-menu.
· Added support for the options: yes to all and cancel (no to all) when overwriting existing files.
· Fixed a bug causing unwanted empty directories to be added when creating some archives.
· Added support for viewing empty directories.
· Archive folder structure is now displayed in the treeview.
· Sorting by ratio do now work properly when viewing folders in archives.
· Exensionless files are now correctly viewed in 7-Zip archives.
· Added support for minimize and minimize to tray on the progress window.
· Fixed a bug causing files not to be extracted when the never overwrite option was used.
· Explorer.exe no longer crashes when an incompatible plugin is used with TUGZip.
· Added support for dragging and dropping folders from an archive to explorer.
· It's now possible to register the shell extension for non administrator accounts.
· The setup now checks for earlier installations.
· The .cbz extension has been added to RAR archives.
· The TUGZip explorer sections will now relocate to the archive's directory when opening an archive from outside TUGZip.
· Fixed a bug causing files not to be added when the Data variable in a script was set to: * or *.*
· Fixed a memory leak crashing ZIP archives when first viewing a file and then directly after, deleting it.
· Improved GZIP support.
· The status and test-window do now stay on top.
· Support for changing the system priority for TUGZip. (options on the status window).
· Added: Archive conversion tool.
· Removed the error message displayed when trying to extract an invalid archive from the shell context menu.
· Fixed a few minor bugs in the Script and SFX utilities.
· You no longer have to unregister the Windows XP default ZIP support for viewing archives in the TUGZip explorer.
· The progress is now displayed when opening an archive.
