Zone Alarm 5 Beta - Infos & Download

Die Zone Labs haben heute eine Betaversion der Software-Firewall Zone Alarm 5 veröffentlicht. Durch die neuen Features soll dem User noch mehr Schutz geboten werden, wobei viele Experten der Meinung sind, dass der Schutz von Software-Firewalls im Allgemeinen mangelhaft ist. Neue Features in Zone Alarm Pro:

• AlertAdvisor - Provides automatic Program policy configurations/recommendations
  
• Antivirus Monitoring - Provides monitoring of Antivirus Engine and .dat files (only for Norton, McAfee, Trend and CA products)
  
• Alert Viewer - New Alert viewer functionality organizes log details by feature category

Neue Features in der Zone Alarm Security Suite:

• AlertAdvisor - Provides automatic Program policy configurations/recommendations
  
• Antivirus - Provides traditional signature based and new heuristic scanning capabilities (includes e-mail scanning)
  
• IM Security - Plugs into different instant message clients to filter incoming messages, scripts and files
  
• Web Filtering - Blocks offending web content and provides you with 34 pre-set categories
  
• Alert Viewer - New Alert viewer functionality organizes log details by feature category
