Windows XP SP2: Ist es wirklich fertig?
hier ist der Originaltext von WinBeta:
As the time draws near, as the ever close Service Pack 2 of XP looms on the horizon, the WinBeta team has learned that the expectant build may carry the number 2178.
Update: The latest talk from the WinBeta hidden microphones tell us:
August 4th RTM and RTAU (Auto Update)
August 5th Release to MSDN and Download Centre
August 25th Release to Windows Update (and SUS) with August 5th bieng the date people can download the full package.
We shall see.
With its its built-in Windows Firewall, new browser and e-mail safeguards and enhancing XP's memory-protection features among other things, SP2 looks to be a major step for the lads in Redmond.
Only time (now very short), will tell.
