@bluefisch200: Yes they have the right, but do you think they are really going to sue a non-profit small organization creating software for those who cannot afford premium software. We don't even take donations, in fact I already gave MS hundreds and thousands of dollars for the software and resources for this suite. Me and Lord Jayson are using Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate do you have any idea how much that costs. I don't think MS would spend tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars just to shut down a small office suite. You don't even know my age, if news where to get out that MS sued somebody my age. Everyone would flame at Microsoft, me and Lord Jayson havent even graduated High School, also we live on 2 different continents, do you know how hard communication is in a 2 person project when the 2 people live on 2 different continents? He lives in Germany and I live in USA.

@TurboV6: What are you talking about? Code wise the code is EXACTLY the same for both WPF and WinForms. (Variant upon the code you use). WPF and WinForms VB.NET are exactly the same when it comes to code, same with C#, and C++. WPF is just more flexible when it comes to looks. Also "no accessibility Code no separation, no deep tests, no data binding, no vectors, no nesting" You are wrong there, if you are as good as a programmer as me and Lord Jayson, you can make that happen in code. Also WinForms has already taken over MFC, you may see more programs that use MFC, but the truth is that the majority of new users decide to use WinForms.

@bluefisch200: You are correct, and we are not competing this office suite is created for those that want Office 2010 but can't afford it and don't want to pirate software. Also for people that don't like the toolstrips in OO.Org. We have no intentions to compete against MS, as you can see our forum is small, the same for the project, while the programs and planning are gigantic, the project is meant to be small. This suite was also created to be portable, you can put it on a USB Drive and carry it around.

Windows 7: Entwickler setzen auf Touch & Ribbon-UI

@ Marcel: I said it's not the real Office Ribbon therefor it is not included in the Microsoft Office Fluent UI Design Guidelines. Also look in visual studio add-ins there is an office 2010 ribbon menu for WPF, you do not need a license for that either. So what you have said would cause every editor on site to be sued, every text editor program to be sued, and OO.org to be sued. So you have understood wrong, as long as you say that it's microsoft's ribbon you are allowed to use it no matter what. BUT our ribbon is not Microsoft's therefor we do not have to apply to their guidelines.

@Johnny Cache: Most of that 76% is due to adults not having the ability to adapt to new things, especially technology. I see 16 year olds more knowledgeable than their technology teachers in school.
