Thunderbird 0.7.1 Englisch released - Infos & DL
The following issues were addressed for 0.7.1:
1. If the path to your Thunderbird Profile contained non ascii characters (like accents, umlauts, etc), Thunderbird 0.7 failed to find your existing profile and made you create a new one. This effected most of our international users.
2. For Mac OS X users. If you upgraded from 0.6 to 0.7, Thunderbird failed to recognize your profile and made you create a new one. We fixed this problem, users upgrading from 0.6 to 0.7.1 will not encounter this.
3. For Windows users, the new mail notification icon in the system tray no longer randomly shows up with a missing icon symbol (or not show up at all).
