
Der Grafikkartenhersteller ATI hat heute eine neue Version seines Catalyst-Treibers veröffentlicht. Die Ausgabe 7.5 unterstützt die Betriebssysteme Windows XP sowie Vista in der 32- und 64-Bit-Edition. Wie immer gibt es einige Verbesserungen.
Laut den Release Notes wird mit diesem neuen Treiber die DirectX10-Unterstützung für die neue Radeon HD 2900 XT hinzugefügt. Zudem wurden Leistungssteigerungen in Sachen OpenGL vorgenommen, die unter anderem die Radeon X1950 XTX, Pro und X1650 XT betreffen. Außerdem wurden zahlreiche Probleme unter Windows Vista beseitigt.
Für Linux-Basierte x86 Systeme liegen ebenfalls
neue Treiber vor. Hier wurden diverse Bugs gefixt und die Performance wurde verbessert.
Die Liste der behobenen Fehler ist wie immer recht lang. Neben kleinen Grafikproblemen in diversen Spielen werden auch allgemeine Probleme aus der Welt geschafft.
