Miranda IM 0.9.0 - Kostenloser Multi-Messenger

Miranda IM ist ein kostenloser Multi-Messenger, der mehrere Chat-Protokolle unterstützt, darunter AIM, ICQ, MSN, Jabber, Yahoo und Gadu-Gadu. Mit Miranda lassen sich diese Netzwerke unter einer einheitlichen Oberfläche nutzen.

Das Programm soll laut Hersteller besonders ressourcenschonend und schnell arbeiten und trotzdem einen großen Funktionsumfang bieten, der durch Plug-ins zudem beliebig erweitert werden kann. Zur Anpassung des Aussehens stehen Skins zur Verfügung, die Miranda zum Beispiel im ICQ-Look erscheinen lassen.

Miranda IM 0.9.0 bringt zahlreiche Verbesserungen mit, darunter eine neu geschriebene Protocol-Engine auf Unicode-Basis sowie ein überarbeitetes Standard-Theme.
